Francis Bacon, Mastermind Of The Occult British Empire Of Scientism

This essay is a part of a project, called The Hidden Life Is Best, that attempts to explain the history and impact of the British Empire, and it’s still powerful influence on critical current events of today like covid and climate change, war in Ukraine and Israel.
Almost everything of global importance in the last 400 years began or was significantly developed in London, from modern Espionage, modern Theater, modern Science, Colonization, Industrialization, modern Insurance, modern Banking and Finance, the Corporation, Big Media, modern Propaganda, Globalism, Popular Music, Vaccination, Sports (soccer/tennis/golf), the dominance of the English language, New Age/Occult philosophy and even Psychology, Communism and Fascism. And Shakespeare, Technocracy and Freemasonry.
Everyone knows the British Empire was built on Shipping and Finance but few realize the real strength of the Empire is Science, Freemasonry and Shakespeare. All three are intertwined and not just because they were invented by Francis Bacon. Since almost every man of influence in England was a part of Freemasonry or associated with Freemasons, including many Kings and Prime Ministers, the question of it’s origin and the origin of Shakespeare is critical to understanding the last 400 years of world history as well as our present moment.
The British people seem to be under a spell, with net-zero, climate change hysteria, war on farming, covid madness, 15 minute cities- all the “sciencey” hoaxes designed for tyranny. I hope I'm wrong, and I know there is resistance, but from an outsider it appears that the UK government is leading the charge in the west for a technocratic future and that is not by accident.
The origin of modern Science itself is a well known story but few know that it began with Freemasonry. If we add the widespread hatred in Britain for Putin and support for the war in Ukraine to the mix of madness-we can call it the Shakepseare effect. The plays of William Shakespeare, first collected in a book known as the First Folio, a book that has been called the most influential book ever written in English and the most influential secular book ever written, is saturated with propaganda for a tyrannical and vicious martial elitism, nationalism and hatred of women. The plays have put England into a trance (and half of America as well) exactly as Oberon did to Titania, Prospero did to an entire island, as the witches did to Macbeth, as the Ghost did to Hamlet and as Iago did to Venice.

Modern Science is a direct outgrowth from alchemy, and alchemy as a search for power and control is a key aspect of Freemasonry and it so happens that the symbolism of alchemy and Freemasonry saturate Shakespeare.
Freemasonry is Gnostic, as is alchemy, which means, among other things, that it is elitist, dividing those who ‘know’ (those with the ‘Gnosis’ or knowledge) from those who don’t ‘know’ and by communicating in a secret language, they keep themselves apart. Shakespeare is filled with a secret langauge.
Gnostics believe that the capacity or ability to ‘know’ is in addition only possible for a few special humans, often as a bloodline. Gnostics believe that those few with the ‘Gnosis’ deserve to control the others, the commoners. The British Elite are Gnostics and thus the British Empire is a religion. The goal of Empire is complete control of the entire planet in the form of a technocracy first envisioned in Francis Bacon’s New Atlantis. Baconian Science, was created specifically as a tool for the expansion of Empire, and ultimately for the establishment of technocracy, which at this very moment. is playing out in England with the government pushing a national digital ID. Britain is heavily pushing the science-heavy 15 minute surveillance cities to save us from the sciencey burning planet hoax. England and her commonwealth were all fully draconian during sciencey Covid. Science is knowledge and “Knowledge is power” said Bacon. He meant it. Science was power in the days of ancient Egypt as well, the ancient land that had the ideal elitist government and social structure. That is one reason why the symbolism of ancient Egypt pervades Freemasonry.
Brave New World, the technocracy envisioned by aristocrat Aldous Huxley (the title of this book is taken from Shakespeare’s The Tempest) is not a warning, it’s a roadmap. The Shakespeare plays themselves are an alchemical roadmap.
Ultimately Empire is an Empire of the the mind and an Empire of the manipulation of the human mind. Which brings us to Shakespeare’s The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet, Macbeth and The Taming of The Shrew which are all about that control of others. For starters.
In the Shakespeare play Cymbeline, Imogen sleeps next to a dead body. After being given a sleeping potion by her servant Pisanio—mistakenly believed to be a deadly poison by the Queen, but actually a harmless sleeping draught—Princess Imogen (disguised as the page Fidele) falls into a deep sleep. She is later found unconscious beside the headless corpse of Cloten, whom her brothers have just killed. When she awakens, she believes the body to be her husband Posthumus, leading to a moment of profound grief and confusion. Imogen experiences a nightmare-like state where she is both aware and disoriented, touching the corpse and smearing herself with Cloten’s blood, passing out on the corpse.
It’s alchemy.

The Invention Of Freemasonry
There is an enormous amount of evidence that Francis Bacon, Baron Verulam, Viscount St Alban, the English Philosopher, Statesman and secret author of the Shakespeare plays invented Freemasonry. For starters the earliest Masonic symbolism is found in the Shakespeare plays. Those Masonic details about the plays are for the next and final installment in this series. These essays provide evidence that the supposed mystery of the origins of Freemasonry is a lie. The implications of Bacon’s involvement in creating Freemasonry, writing Shakespeare, birthing modern Science and helping to form the world’s first corporation that colonized America are so immense as to necessitate a radical change in our understanding of the last 400 years of world history, because virtually everything connected to the British Empire must be re-evaluated, based on this evidence.
The meaning and nature of Francis Bacon as mastermind of the British Empire also vastly increases our understanding of current events, from the occult influence on the transgender-mania, to the creation of Israel, to the war in Ukraine and to Covid mania, because the impact of Freemasonry, Shakespeare and Scientism has been so widespread and so penetrating.
For one example, the unified science-heavy globally-networked theater of deceit around the laboratory-made sciencey Covid virus “pandemic”, so dramatic in design and impact, can only be explained, in whole or in part, as revealing the existence of a 400 year-old world-wide secret society of theater, with key players or allies placed in essential positions of authority over the decades. How else can such global co-ordination be explained?
The British Empire was designed to control the entire world, as evidenced by statements from Freemason and mining magnate Cecil Rhodes (the kind of guy who names a country in Africa after himself) and famous English writer HG Wells (War Of The Worlds, Island Of Dr. Moreau, The Open Conspiracy) reveal. These chaps were only following the blueprint drawn by Francis Bacon. It’s all about Empire.

Corporate Bacon
Francis Bacon, as a lawyer, was also involved in the creation of the world’s first corporations, the East India Company and the Virginia Company of London that settled America at Jamestown. The technocracy Bacon prophetically envisioned in his famous book New Atlantis intends to be corporatized, with the nation state replaced by corporate feudal lords. That would be Bacon and The College of Six Days Work. The world’s first joint-stock corporation, the East India Company had it’s own imperialist military. Today, Apple’s annual revenue in 2023 amounted to $383 billion, a figure that exceeds the GDP of more than 75% of countries worldwide. The corporations will be the new feudal lords of the global technocracy. The other appropriate symblos is that they will be the priests of ancient Egypt.
Perhaps you noticed that the corporate mantra of “Trust the Science” and “Science Will Win” becoming such theatrical mindless mantras promulgated by the corporate media, and the pharmaceutical corps, encouraging and coercing you to take experimental and dangerous unneeded sciencey genetic therapies that bring billions of dollars of profit to corporations and to the private corporate banks who make billions on interest loaning governments money to buy the very genetic therapies that the Covid theater influenced so many to believe in. If it wasn’t for the creation of Scientism over the preceding century, largely by Baconian Brit scientist and Brit media, (The Globe Theater’s motto was “All The World’s A Stage”) this “Science” campaign would never have done the damage that it did. The first person to get a covid vaccine in England was named William Shakespeare. Francis Bacon, as a master of espionage and propaganda would be proud.
Bacon And Espionage
Bacon you see, was at the very center of British Intelligence at it’s inception in the Walsingham-Cecil era of Elizabethan London. The poet-philosopher-scientist-master of theater was also a master spy. I’m convinced that today, they teach Shakespeare in Spy School.
As for corporate private fractional-reserve banking, the scourge of the planet and the key to globalization, the Central Bank Of England, has it’s own ‘lodge’, the Bank of England Lodge 263, London, with records dating back to 1788. The bank’s early creators in 1696 were Fellows of Bacon’s The Royal Society Of London, (FRS) specifically a man named Abraham Hill, who mastered the science of finance as a founding member of The Royal Society.

Alchemist Bacon
Bacon was also an alchemist, as almost all intellectuals of his day were, and his innovation was realizing that alchemy was not only material and occult psycho-spiritual, it was ALSO occult social-psychological, changing everything. Bacon invented a new form of Gnsoticism that grew out of Gnsotic alchemy. Materialist Alchemy became psycho-Social Alchemy in Shakepseare and Freemasonry, staying purely material in Science, with the goal being the transmutation of the entire world.

Blue Lodge Freemasonry and Initiation
I will focus exclusively on the origin of the original English ‘Blue Lodge’ and ‘Royal Arch’ Freemasonry, as overseen today by the United Grand Lodge of England. Within that frame of reference I’ll focus on the crucial, legendary and theatrical 3rd degree initiation that involves the death and rebirth ritual centering on the Freemasonic hero/god Hiram Abiff. This initiation is where Bacon clearly had a transformative influence on the Craft and where Freemasonry emerged from it’s nascent form in Scotland as a hiding place for disgraced and hunted Templars. Freemasons claim their beginnings date from Adam the first man, or King Solomon or Euclid or more plausibly, wandering medieval Cathedral builders. These assertions are ridiculous or, if somehow sounding reasonable, they have been proven to be completely false. For instance, there were no wandering stonemason builders of Cathedrals in the Middle Ages, who needed secret handshakes in order to identify themselves. In the first place there are zero records of any such groups. No one was allowed to wander in the Middle Ages. Laborers, craftsmen and artisans were the property of their Kings and Dukes and Earls. (As ‘they’ would like to be again ~ ed.) Wandering didn’t happen, not without permission from on high. Cathedrals were built by locals.
Freemasonry does have links to the ancient mystery religions, particularly that of Mithra, which like the all the mystery religions goes back to ancient Egypt. Mithraism was very popular in England, and throughout the Roman Empire, in particular with soldiers and merchants, so much so that it became an important component of the Roman Empire, just as Freemasonry would prove to be an important component of the English Empire, a very popular with soldiers and merchants (and the Elite).
Freemasonry went through a split after the “glorious revolution” in England in 1688, with an offshoot emerging in Paris circa 1725, known as Jacobite “Scottish Rite” Freemasonry, which spread from Paris throughout much of Europe, becoming known as “Continental Freemasonry”.
Freemasonry was involved with both the Jacobite and the Royalist sides during the “Jacobite risings” in France, Scotland and England in ther attempt to regain the Crown. Good practice for playing both sides of a conflict, Janus-faced, against the mddle for effective social alchemy and transformation of society. Freemasonry, due to it’s remarkable semi-independent “lodge” structure governed by separate national Grand Lodges metastasized easily into many different types such as Scottish Rite, Eastern Star, Prince Hall, Swedish Rite, etc. etc. All are bound together by variations of ‘Blue Lodge’ Masonry’s third degree ritual of Hiram Abiff.
Blue Lodge English Freemasonry was created by consolidating multiple historical, cultural and religious currents that existed in Early Modern London and Scotland in the 1590’s, forming a new initiatory secret society, based on earlier and simpler and even ancient models and it’s all there in the Bacon.

The semi-independent lodge structure of Freemasonry is brilliant, inspiring and inspired by the ‘cell’ structure found in in intelligence services with a stove piping of authority and flow of information that bypasses a more militarized chain of command, allowing for greater independence. However, lodges are certified regularly by Grand Lodges, who can take back certification if too many irregularites are found. In this fasion, certain lodges engaged in criminal activity that become exposed, like the P2 lodge in Italy, a clandestine, Masonic, far-right lodge that was highly involved in the terrorist/espionage activities of Gladio, can simply be denounced as ‘irregular’ by the Grand Lodge even though apparently, all it’s members were initiated dues-paying lodge brothers in good standing and remained so, in good standing as Freemasons after the many crimes sponsored by the lodge were revealed.
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was a member of Propaganda Due (P2), that also included prominent figures from politics, the military, intelligence services, and media. Probably had a bunch of scientists and bankers too. Sounds like Covid.
Freemasonry is essentially a unique and advanced form of espionage. Ask L. Ron Hubbard of US Naval Intelligence. who designed Scientology on principles of Freemasonry.

In both these countries [the Earl of] Essex had correspondents, in his intercourse with whom Anthony Bacon appears to have served him in a capacity very like that of a modern under-secretary of state; receiving all letters, which were mostly in cipher, in the first instance; forwarding them (generally through his brother Francis’s hands) to the Earl, deciphered and accompanied with their joint suggestions; and finally, according to the instructions thereupon returned framing and dispatching the answers. I’ll start this first section of evidence by pointing out some of the many correspondences between Freemasonry and the life, times and writing of the Viscount St. Alban, Baron Verulam ShakesBACON before we analyze the earliest graphic AND visual symbols of the Brotherhood, which always centered on Francis Bacon or his close associates- such as the frontispieces of his books and the books of his colleagues.

Viscount St. Alban, Baron Verulam
Bacon’s peerage titles of gentry are Viscount St. Alban and Baron Verulam. St. Alban was Britain’s first Christian saint and martyr, and as the legend tell it, he is also the man who brought Freemasonry to England. St. Albans is a town near London where Bacon lived. (He also had a house in London on the Thames and kept rooms at the law school Gray’s Inn nearby). St. Albans sits on the site of ancient Verulamium, a Roman garrison town where Julius Caesar may even have stopped off for a hot cup of coffee and a muffin during the first Roman conquest of Britain in 50 BC. Caesar’s accounts of the invasions, are the earliest surviving eyewitness descriptions of Britain’s people, culture, and geography, beginning the written history of the island. Bacon and Shakespeare were both obsessed with Julius Caesar. Bacon called Julius the ‘greatest of al natural men’, twice, and Shakespeare wrote maybe his best play about Julius Caesar and his public assassination.
Verulamium was occupied by Romans until 450 AD, and it was known as a center of the Gnostic religion. A temple to Mithras was discovered in London, now restored, and I’m sure there was one in Verulamium as well, since the mystery cult was popular with Roman soldiers and merchants. In this pre-Roman form, it was called Verlamion and is among the first places in Britain recorded by name. So it’s very fitting that Bacon be named Verulam. Late in life he dropped Bacon and called himself Baron Verulam, Viscount St Alban. He wasn’t Bacon. He was a blue blood royal, son of the Virgin Queen. A god.
King James 1 and VI, the person who was responsible for giving Bacon both of his appellations of gentry, was himself a Freemason, initiated into the lodge at ‘olde reekie’ Edinburgh. It was Queen Elizabeth however, who first encouraged, if not ordered Bacon’s rich and powerful, highly educated (foster) father Nicholas Bacon to build a house in St. Albans, which indicates that the not-so ‘Good Queen Bess’ was in the know concerning aspects of the then nascent secret brotherhood).

Bess had a summer residence near St. Albans, which was also near the summer residence of the all-powerful Cecil clan as well, convenient for cocktail parties and picnicking with all the three families while discussing the capture and torture of Catholics hiding in “priest holes’- the secret chambers concealed behind walls, under floorboards and within chimneys designed to evade searches by “priest hunters”. A captured priest would expect to be hung, drawn and quartered. Hundreds thus met their end this way under ‘Good Queen Bess’.
Scholars Place Origin Of Freemasonry Smack In The Middle Of Bacon’s Lifetime (Just Like Shakespeare)
Despite it’s unparalleled influence on world history as a non-religious and non-governmental institution, serious scholarship has been lacking on Freemasonry, largely due to the secrecy the brotherhood surrounds itself with as well as the preposterous pronouncements official Masonry makes regarding their own origins. Little was written about Masonry for the first 275 years of it’s existence, which dates to the Summer Solstice of 1717, when four already existing ‘lodges’ announced themselves to the world and joined together in London to create the Grand Lodge of England.
The dam on serious scholarship was finally broken by Professor and Scotsman David Stevenson in 1988, who, poring over Scottish legal documents surrounding the Mason’s guilds found evidence: a set of rules and guidelines resembling the modern form of the fraternity rediscovered in the Schaw Statutes, two documents issued by the Master of Works in Scotland in 1598 and 1599. This period is smack in the middle of Bacon’s lifetime, occurring while King James VI was King of Scotland, the man soon to become King James I of England in 1603, the kind of guy who would name a Bible after himself, and the guy who, when he did become King of England would immediately raise Bacon to the knighthood and make him Lord Chancellor, the second most powerful post in the kingdom. King James himself as mentioned, was an early initiate into the brotherhood, and royalty has ever since been at the heart and head of the Craft. The position of Grandmaster of English Freemasonry must be held by royal blood, held at present by the Duke of Kent.
Bacon had long advocated for the union of Scotland and England, and he predicted a great empire as the result. Bacon was literally a prophet, all his predictions eerily came true, but he gamed the system with his theater and his secret society, yet he remains a prophet nonetheless, predicting for instance the enormous impact Science would have on society with his science-fiction novel New Atlantis, published just after his death in 1627, at the back of Sylva Sylvarum.
His Freemasonic brotherhood however, played an outsized role in the evolution and creation of his prophecies around Empire, Science and Shakespeare.
Early contacts between King James and Bacon were handled by life-long intelligence operative and brother of Francis Bacon, Anthony Bacon, whose emissaries made frequent trips to Scotland and vice-versa.
The Knights Templars had absconded to Scotland in the 1300’s and integrated themselves into the Highland culture where the first Masonic lodges began, as revealed by Stevenson’s research. (Stevenson does not mention the Templars, btw). As an outgrowth of Templarism, the early lodges required the great secrecy now legendary to the Craft as the lives of the Knights Templar were on the line. As a group they held many a secret, not the least of which was the homosexual and heretical nature of their initiations.

Obelisks are very prominent Masonic symbolism. When you see them in a graveyard, and you will see very many on the East Coast of the United States, it means the guy in the ground was a Freemason and he wants other Masons to know that.

There are two massive ancient Obelisks called Cleopatra’s Needles that are connected to Julius Caesar, Augustus Caesar and of course ancient Egypt. Ancient Egypt is the original home of the mystery cults on which Freemasonry is partly based. The obelisks were made in Heliopolis (The City Of The Sun) around 1500 BC. Sun symbolism is, of all the Masonic symbolism, Freemasonry’s most important. Caesar Augustus had the even then ancient obelisks installed in Alexandria, city of Cleopatra, in 12 BC in honor of his father Julius Caesar. Freemasons brought one of them to New York and one to London. Railroad magnate and Freemason Nathaniel Vanderbilt led the expedition to retrieve the obelisk from Alexandria, Egypt, in 1880, which was placed in New York’s Central Park. It has the complete works of Shakepseare buried at it’s base. What a shock! The Cleopatra’s Needle in London, was placed by Freemasons as well, particularly Sir William James Wilson, who funded the transportation and erection of the obelisk. It now sits within feet of the exact location the site of the former York House, Bacon’s childhood and adult home on the Thames immediately adjacent to Whitehall Palace. The Freemasons thus honored Bacon and Shakespeare with massive ancient obelisks formerly dedicated to Julius Caesar, the builder of Empire, of whom Bacon twice called “the most excellent of all natural men”. Builders of Empire got mad respect from the Baron Verulam.

Promotion Of Science
The impact of Freemasonry on world history includes Masonry’s enthusiastic and official promotion of Science immediately after it went public in 1717. Even Robert Boyle was a probable Freemason and alchemist. Edward Jenner, father of the Vaccine was a Freemason. Isaac Newton as an alchemist and a probable Freemason. Darwin’s grandfather Erasmus Darwin was a Freemason, as was mechanical genius James Watt.
This support for Science led directly to what is now known as the Enlightenment. Francis Bacon of course, is known as the “patron saint of the Enlightenment” and father of modern science-his writing on the philosophy of science was a huge influence on science pioneers like Descartes, Leibniz, Newton, Locke and Kant among many others. It was Kant who gave the Enlightenment era it’s name, the era begun by Bacon. Kant dedicated his Critique Of Pure Reason to Francis Bacon.
The world’s first scientific body, The Royal Society, was founded in London by Freemasons before Freemasonry went public. The link between Freemasonry and Science is standard history though little known. Freemasonry As Alchemy. Bacon Was An Alchemist
Albert Mackey, the legendary historian of Freemasonry writes:
“There is a very great similarity between their doctrines [the alchemists] and those of the Freemasons; so much so that the two associations have sometimes been confounded.” A. Mackey “The Symbolism Of Freemasonry” p. 178
Francis Bacon was very interested in and involved with Alchemy, as he formed it’s outlines into the origins of modern Science. Bacon wrote about Alchemy in detail, for example see. Francis Bacon - The Making of Gold. Interest and practice of Alchemy was at it’s absolute peak during Bacon’s lifetime (1561-1621)
The symbolism of Alchemy saturates the Shakespeare plays, and incredibly this was not remarked on until the 1970’s, as the esoteric language of alchemy had been largely forgotten!
Charity
Freemasonry makes a big deal about charity as the basis of the vision of their fraternity. They claim to raise money to fund Children’s Hospitals (Shriner’s Hospitals) focusing on burns. A quick look at Charity Watch gives them an incredibly low score on allocation of funds. From the United Grand Lodge Of England website ugle.org.uk:

Bacon’s vision of Science was that it was for charity.
“This corrective spice, the mixture whereof maketh knowledge so sovereign, is charity, which the Apostle immediately addeth to the former clause; for so he saith, “Knowledge bloweth up, but charity buildeth up;” ...: “If I spake,” saith he, “with the tongues of men and angels, and had not charity, it were but as a tinkling cymbal.”

Bacon and Empire, Freemasonry and Empire
Every single British Army regiment contained a Freemasonic lodge, according to recent scholarship by Professor Harkness, who identifies Freemasonry as the clear origin of Globalism
Bacon’s obsession with Empire has been noted by many writers. Most recently by Professor Peter Zagorin in his excellent book, Francis Bacon.
“His [Bacon’s] interest in the expansion of empire was reinforced by the influence of Machiavelli, whose discourses distinguished between republics that merely preserve the status quo and those like Rome that become great by extending their dominion. He shared Machiavelli’s assumption that states were power entities ever under actual or potential threat from other powers; and having given considerable attention to analyzing the foundations of the power of states, he was convinced that England’s and Britain’s destiny lay in expansion.”

Cecil Rhodes and The Rothschilds-Freemasons
Evidence exists in the writing of Freemason Cecil Rhodes, a British businessman who left his entire South African diamond mining fortune to Freemason Nathaniel Rothschild, with the task given Rothschild to facilitate Rhodes’ publicly stated ambition for a global British Empire by furthering Rhode’s Freemason-adjacent secret society, a secret society within a secret society, whose singular goal was advancing the British Empire and bringing the entire world under British rule. This intent was published by Rhodes in his 1877 “Confession of Faith”. This secret society within a secret society in turn became the Milner Roundtable group, that had it’s own hierarchical structure, led by Alfred Milner, and included it’s own inner core known as the “Society of the Elect” with an outer circle called the “Association of Helpers”. The Milner Roundtable was instrumental in creating World War One, the war that destroyed all the European and Levantine Empires but one. The English Empire was the last Empire standing at the the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on 28 June 1919 in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles.

VISUAL EVIDENCE FROM BACON'S & COLLEAGUE’S BOOKS
A profusion of Freemasonic symbolism that did not exist until the lifetime of Francis Bacon in such concatenations suddenly appeared beginning in the late 1500’s and early 1600’s. Today this symbolism is well known, such as the twin pillars of Joachim and Boaz, the compass and square, the eye of providence, the handshake and the black and white tiled floor, and the sun and moon.
The earliest known Masonic symbolism appeared on the frontispieces of books that were associated with Bacon. First up we have John Dee’s Monas Hieroglyphica, Sir Walter Raleigh’s The History Of The World, Francis Bacon’s Sylva Sylvarum, Novum Organum, and the first translation of his The Advancement Of Learning as well as the frontispiece to the first History Of The Royal Society.
This sort imagery just does not exist in the frontispieces of any other writers or other alchemists like Michael Maier of Johan Trithemius or George Ripley or anywhere for that matter. Not that I’ve examined every single book printed between 1400-1650, sadly.

Necromancer, mathematician, cartographer John Dee was an associate of Bacon’s in the court of Queen Elizabeth 1. Dee worked as a tutor for the family of Robert Dudley, the Earl of Leicester, the Queens consort and Bacon’s real father. There are records of Bacon at the famous Dee library in Mortlake. Bacon and Dee were the book lovers of the Elizabethan age, with Bacon rumored to have read every book in England, and Dee known to have owned most of them. Dee convinced Queen Bess on the necessity of Empire, and England’s rightful place in the New World.

History of The World was printed by Ben Jonson, Bacon’s close associate. Raleigh and Bacon knew each other well as prominent courtiers. Bacon no doubt a member of Raleigh’s secret society The School Of Night.
Novum Organum 1620 The Book That Shook The World
Novum Organum 1620 and Advancement of Learning 1623 (published the same year as the First Folio!) both published in Latin, lit the fire of Science under the ass of European intellectuals from Descartes to Newton to Leibniz to Locke to Kant.

Of the first three officially documented Masonic initiates, two of them, Robert Moray and Elias Ashmole are associated with The Royal Society, the world’s first chartered group dedicated to Science. The society acknowledged that Francis Bacon inspired them to to form the organization.

The myth of Aphrodite and Venus is part of one of the oldest religions and one of the most important myths of ancient Greece. It is also the first poem that Bacon published under the name William Shakespeare, in 1593, titled Venus and Adonis. Only Bacon, known to be homosexual in his day, turns the ancient myth of a passionate love affair of the beautiful goddess, Aphrodite (Venus) and the most beautiful man ever, Adonis- into a story where Adonis refuses to have sex with Aphrodite. In the original myth Adonis and Aphrodite have a passionate affair before Adonis is killed by a boar, descending to the underworld only to be reborn by Aphrodite’s desperate pleading to Zeus. In the Shakespeare version Adonis very strangely turns Aphrodite down, completely altering an ancient myth. It’s a comedy.
There exists throughout the Shakespeare plays and also in Bacon’s writing much mockery of romantic love. May I also add that here are a lot of homosexual overtones and a certain Gnostic disgust with women. Just sayin’.
Adonis and Aphrodite (Venus) is a closely related myth to the core myth of Mesopotamia- that of the dieties Tammuz and Ishtar. Tammuz became Adonis, Ishtar Aphrodite. Adonis is also Adonai- the Hebrew name for God. This is a BIG MYTH. Adonis is a dying and rising god with many profound levels of meaning.
Bacon inverted the myth. Adonis refuses to sleep with Venus in his famous Shakespeare poem. They do NOT become lovers. Bacon turns Adonis into a homosexual. Only a homosexual could resist mighty Aphrodite.
Hiram Abiff, Masonic Hero
Hiram Abiff, Masonic hero- is ritually slain and reborn in every ritual of the third degree in Masonry. According to Masonic historian and Freemason JSM Ward, Hiram Abiff is Adonis. Every single Mason is symbolically and ritually murdered, to then be ‘raised’ and reborn as a Master Mason. It’s a very powerful and emotionally effective rite. All Masons talk of the lodge where they were ‘raised’. It’s a brilliant update on the ceremonies of the ancient mysteries and Bacon illustrates it in the play The Tempest. The initiation process always involves fear and terror followed by relief and bonding. Trauma conditioning much?
Hiram Abiff is a stand in for Osiris, the Sun, and the dying and rising god whose pehis is the obleisk. But Hiram is also Adonis according to the remarkable scholarship of the ancient world by JSM Ward.

Based on a startling discovery in St. Albans, there is proof that Bacon saw himself as the god Adonis- he becomes Adonis, as every Mason become Hiram Abiff/Adonis/Osiris.

Bacon is both the god Adonis and as his family crest shows, because of his name, he is also the boar, who kills Adonis. It’s classic Shakespearean antithesis and it’s kinda funny in a creepy way. “He could never pass up a jest” said his good buddy, playwright and co-conspirator Ben Johnson.

Freemasonry promises ‘enlightenment’ and secret or occult knowledge that is closely associated with Hermeticism and alchemy. Freemasonry in some sense is a form of social alchemy itself, offering promises of transformation of an individual in a group context, or brotherhood. While alchemy focuses on the practical and symbolic transformation of matter, Hermeticism emphasizes spiritual and philosophical insight, and the symbolism used by all three traditions overlaps. Sun, moon and serpent symbolism dominate all three.
